From The InsideA Poem by Bryan Micheni
So recognize my ambivalence
As my one redeeming grace; The one thing that's left as certain In my fragile diamond heart. Let me sit on stool forgotten In this maelstrom of a bar Drown the joys out with the sorrows Forget what's from the inside... But, maybe this half drunk perception Shows me truth in clearest sight... I'm a fool to let her inside I'm a fool to let her go. © 2012 Bryan MicheniReviews
