Air And Angels

Air And Angels

A Poem by Bryan Micheni

Sit down, and smile, if for a while
And reminisce with me:
Of air and angels, stars and skies
Echoing through our dreams,
And drown our sorrows one last time
Without elixir's need...
The glory days of pride and honour;
The golden heart of endless valour;
The kiss beyond the lips...
And maybe then by some last chance
We'll slow our fall from grace.
So be here now, no reservations,
And know no world past revelations
Of what to feel and see,
And love me now, for once, for always;
The selfish strike again.

A amazing poem. Memories can allow us to dream and hope for better endings. I like the use of language. Allowed me to fall into strong words and desires. I like the ending to the excellent poem.

This had a very ethereal classical sort of Renaissance beauty to it, high praise.
