The Indifferent

The Indifferent

A Poem by Bryan Micheni

Paint a picture of thousand lives,
Each within a thousand words,
But, let no tales be spoken...
Indifference chills these haughty bones
And from this throne of mine in mind
Be conquered.
Useless minds, and useless hearts
From useless people drawn.
And autotune of life's career
Compared to madness' melody
Seems wanting.
Peace be with us all
And hope for chaos.
Be worth me, or be without,
And world will stay the same.
Heart's still alive.
And keeps on beating,
But not same rhythm,
For madness became life,
And Angel, man...

There's a very long story behind this. Paradigm shift and changes of rhythm to which my heart dances, in short...
