Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace

A Poem by Michelle Rachel
"

...

"
He made me his life
He gave me his heart
And now I must make the choice
To be a part
Of the life of the man I hold close
And let him know the most

That he is my dream,
And he's my inspiration
He makes me feel complete
And he is perfection
Now I keep wanting to tell him,
But I don't know how it'll sound
So I'll go out on a limb
And say I was lost but now I'm found

I've told him my desires
And he only supports them
And every time I get tired
He's there to hold me
Now if he could only see
What I find him to be

That he is my dream,
And he's my inspiration
He makes me feel complete
And he is perfection
Now I keep wanting to tell him,
But I don't know how it'll sound
So I'll go out on a limb
And say I was lost but now I'm found

This man I love so much
And don't even realize at times
All it takes is one simple touch
And I can't get him off my mind
Was there ever a time in his life
When he saw differently
That someday he'll have a wife
And did he see me?

Cause he's my dream
And he's my inspiration
He makes me feel complete
And he is perfection
Now I keep wanting to tell him
But I don't know how it'll sound
So I'll go out on a limb
And say I was lost but now I'm found

Will the limb break? Will I fail to see
That I'm the one he loves, he wants to hold me
How long will I wait? Now that? I don't know
But I know he loves me, and now he knows

That he is my dream
And he's my inspiration
He makes me feel complete
And he is perfection
Now I keep wanting to tell him,
But I don't know how it'll sound
So now that I've gone out on a limb now I say
I once was lost but now I'm found...
