No Longer MineA Poem by Michelle Rachel...
As I look across this room so grand,
All I can think about in my disguise Is how it felt to look into your eyes, And know you loved me as I held your hand. But now you're gone, and I'm all but found You just look at me, and my feet leave the ground But there's no point to take the time When I remember, you're no longer mine As I look down the road at you, It takes all my power to stay intact To keep from breaking, to keep my pact When I remember, I can't make things new But now you're gone, and I'm all but found You just look at me, and my feet leave the ground But there's no point to take the time When I remember, you're no longer mine Oh, tell me, why can't you see That what you're doing is killing me And now you're gone, and I'm all but found You just look at me, and my feet leave the ground But there's no point to take the time When I remember, you're no longer mine, You're no longer mine...
