Hello Beautiful

Hello Beautiful

A Poem by Michelle Rachel
"

...

"
You opened the door to see me standing in front of you,
You invited me in though you weren't in the mood
Then I told you what was going on, and
You told me the one thing you knew

And later I said:
You know me for who I am, and
You've been there with me through my darkest hour
You've always been supportive of my distant dreams, and
Your love is known to be a state of overflow
You've seen the me that I don't want to be, and
Yet you continue to say, well, hello beautiful

You said we could always talk. even at the break of dawn
Because your undying love is just that strong
There's never been a time you weren't there for me
And all those times I angrily said you weren't there for me,
I was so wrong

Though later I said:
You know me for who I am, and
You've been there with me through my darkest hour
You've always been supportive of my distant dreams, and
Your love is known to be a state of overflow
You've seen the me that I don't want to be, and
Yet you continue to say, well, hello beautiful

I don't know why I think I have to try
To get your attention I just have to say "Hi'
I know  you'll hold me close when I cry, cause
I tell you everything, you don't have to pry
You're one of the few people that I really trust
To keep my secrets without a doubt
So here I sit, thinking of how just
Life would be to let me see your face
One more time

And now I'll say:
You know me for who I am, and
You've been there with me through my darkest hour
You've always been supportive of my distant dreams, and
Your love is known to be a state of overflow
You've seen the me that I don't want to be, and
Yet you continue to say, well, hello beautiful

You know me for who I am, and
You've been there with me through my darkest hour
You've always been supportive of my distant dreams, and
Your love is known to be a state of overflow
You've seen the me that I don't want to be, and
Yet you continue to say, well, hello beautiful

You've seen the me that I don't want to be, and
Yet you continue to say, well, hello beautiful...
