A Fish Swimming In The Trees

I wrote this to go with an oil painting I made from a photograph I took of steelhead trout swimming in a river with trees reflected in the water.

Fish are supposed to swim in the lake
Deer are supposed to walk among the trees
So why do I feel like a fish out of water
That is swimming in the trees?
