Little Ripples

Little Ripples

A Poem by MicheleG-SA

Little ripples in the wastelands of my soul,
Causing a stirring, reverberations of longing,
Deep inside my heart of hearts.
Running on tiptoe down the passages of time.
My life a kaleidoscope of places and people.
Still the ripples run...

Lapping right up to the beckoning shore.
Veils of promises have shrouded my soul.
Shocks of realism and branded mysticism numb my mind.
My dream the mirage in the desert dunes of longing.
My spirit the captive victor....waiting,
So, let the little ripples run...

Michele this is wonderful. It flows well and the images of the ripples amazing. Very nicely done.
