Red and blue and a wild spirit

Red and blue and a wild spirit

A Poem by Michaela rose wilz

Red and Blue lights lite up the night sky.
A fire burning sky high in the middle of a sand pit in the middle of the woods.
Trucks all around.
Music blasting.
Twenty-one year olds and minors drinking and talking.
A eighteen year old young lady angry at the world.
Run a voice says.
In the woods hiding from the law.
Crying city boy let’s go to the road.
Caught by a officer.
A walk to the party by the officer.
A angry girl.
Officer come here sweetheart.
I’m not your sweetheart.
A fight between the officer and her.
A throw down from hell.
A fire cracker who can hold her ground. Blue and red lights flashing in her eyes.
A young man falls in love with her.
A young lady goes to jail.
A love story
A sad ending.
A broken heart.
To souls fall in love that will never be.
What if I stayed in that run down town .
What if I dated that young man.
My best friend.
Would he never had pulled the trigger in 2021.
If I did not break his heart 8 years ago.
