A Poem With No Meaning

A Poem With No Meaning

A Poem by Michael X
"

...

"
I can speak the language of fallen angels,
we don't know how to use words very well.
This passion has no life or meaning.
But if I could read your thoughts,
what would your open heart say to me?

Sometimes, I feel like people are aliens
or maybe I'm a mind of a different breed
or maybe the mind is just a window.
If I could look through the window
of your soul, what planet would I see?

These thoughts are so far out,
I travel through space when I close my eyes.
I'm trying to make it to Heaven's gate
to steal the language of the angels.

I desperately need the right kind of words
for my fading life story, the kind of words
that turn ordinary men into poets.

you have turned, Michael...

reading your words proves you have become a poet...i think we, as poets, are the ones who feel like aliens on a planet of mis-understanders...

at least sometimes...we feel a different race altogether---

really relate to this one...still trying to write that "one poem" "the" one.

You cleverly personified an ingenious attempt to discover the true emotional rewards that follow each and every soul searching attempt people make in order to find the right words that deeply clarify the depths of our own hearts and souls alike. Great work. A cleverly eloquent and engaging read. :)

beautiful!
"... or maybe the mind is just a window.
If I could look through the window

- it's always a challenge to see into others mind!

Lot of meaning and language of the kings. Thoughts about inner self and outside world. Good you wrote this.

"Sometimes, I feel like people are aliens"

- being weird is fun, and more often excel in many other things that are not common to the common folks. be as awesome as you already are, my friend. life teaches us to write, our journey helps us shape our words and our choices makes us wiser at the end of its effects...

Hmm, quite beautiful and meaningfully significant in its purpose. It waxes a bit philosophical at times which I love.

Overall, a fairly amazing and well-thought out poem.
