I am going to give you an honest opinion on the italics. I think they distract from your words other than add to them. You words are powerful enough to stand on their own. With that being said, I think the concept is sharp and interesting. I really enjoyed reading this and found it to be insightful yet entertaining.
Yeah, finding the endlessness of it all can be scary, because then come the contradictions, and the not knowing if your right or wrong, you begin to see how little you actually know. Then comes the horrible, "Whats the point!!!" You feel yourself as a writer though...and its all you're really sure of, as unsettling as it can be.
As far as form goes, this is nicely written, simple and to the point. Good phrases. I would actually like to see this written out not in a rhyme formation but in some kind of extended form, I feel like you'd have more wiggle room for this type of concept, however its good as is, I just think you could turn it into something better based on your writing voice,
Its a compliment.
This is good! I think you may have things left unsaid, that you should allow to come out. Nice cadence. This reminds me of lyrics for a song. Maybe, if you are inclined you could add a melody?
Overall, a nice read. Good for you. Short and sweet! I do love the syntax!
This is really cool! I like the last and third to last stanzas the best. The only thing I was confused about is the random capitalization. Actually, I was also confused by the last line in the first stanza, but then someone explained it to me so it's all good. Anyway, with the capitalization I feel like it's unnecessary. The words speak well for themselves and don't need that to accentuate them.
Italics or no...this is still a poem that has a bundle of emotion. It has many shades of wisdom and talent. I am speechless and even a bit jealous at your abilities as a poet. XD
