A New Beginning.

A New Beginning.

A Poem by Michael Thrower
"

A poem I wrote, inspired by Blind Guardian. The title explains it all.

"

I know they're out there,

Playing hide and seek.

One word I share,

words I must repeat.

In the darkness they hide;

Their secret places.

In order to divide,

they hide their faces.

Here the voice in the dark.

A quest I must embark,

to save mankind.

A righteous mind.

They send the side wind,

and winter shall come again.

Like shadows they hide and they wait,

but soon they will come.

I can't forsee all the pain and misery,

Curse me,

Hate me,

Kill me,

Drown in blackened symphony.

Fear the voice in the dark,

they are waiting.

Like shadows they hide,

but soon they'll return.

Descended hero rises again.

Gripping a sword in his golden hand.

The Earth trembles beneath his feet,

an army of angels without defeat.

It's time to praise,

a new beggining,

a new end.

It's time to turn the Page!

Shadows vanish into the light,

darkness runs straight out of sight.

The true one has arrived!

Heart of Lion, strong and Wise.

A new beggining!

There is light beyond the horizon!

Come! Turn the wheel!

A change of season,

praise the Newborn King!

I liked this a lot! One criticism, you spelled misery wrong, you spelled it like "misory" I think it was beautiful though, great job! :)

Good poem!
It flows so quickly but so smoothly.
That isnt easy to write, but you made it so perfectly.
