Into the Void (Everytime I die)

Into the Void (Everytime I die)

A Poem by Michael Thrower
"

No description for it, really. I just wrote it while listening to Children of Bodom, lol.

"

I fly-

Down into the Void

My past awaits me

I have no choice

This pain that grips me

Why did I die?

Everytime I try

There's just another lie

Fire-

Consumes me

Blood

Revives me

On broken wings

I cannot fly

Stuck to Earth

I must die

You learn the way

To wonderland

To claim my mind

Eternal Damned

Nice job - Musing on the darker side of the afterlife...A place difficult to send the mind...The short, rhythmic lines really drive the dark images home. Nicely done.
