just a dream fix...

Laying here...

My eyes are closed...

Yet you seem so far away.

 

Broken heart...

Fragile feelings...

That I believe you are my dream.

 

Breathing...

Dreaming...

Realizing that I'm awake.

That I see a picture of you and me.

 

Understanding the pitch...

Filming lives...

That pass us by.

I dont want to believe in your lies.

 

Like the icicles that drip...

my emotions quiver to the thought....

That you were once a dream.

The dream that is life, but this sounds more like a nightmare. The way I see it a nightmare doesn't have to be about monsters or ghosts, but about whatever makes you sad, whatever makes you angry or scared when you're alone. WAIT! That gives me a great idea for a poem. Thank you for the inspiration! This is a really great piece that you've written and I love it.
