Whispers

Whispers

A Poem by Michael Lopez
"

written on a whim....maybe you'll hear.

"

As the whispers are made in the dark...

I lay here and whither.

Sulking in lost love despair...

Loving the moments.

When my memories touch the past...

Only to get lost in the pain.

Your love that gave bliss...

With every touch.

Only wanting it dear..

Knowing that it will never come near.

A deep seeded issue...

Thats never come to grasp.

Hoping for a day...

That our lives might just pass.

The tears that fall...

On a young mistake.

That I live with the vison in my head...

While living to the end.

Beautifully written; the feelings of love lost, the memories that haunt us thereafter, all seem to be enveloped in this poem. Good read. Bravi.

Oh wow....this is so touching Michael. What a lovely, yet painful feel to it. I can almost hear it as though it IS a whisper, softly touching and caressing through past wrongs. It bleeds of wanting back something that may never be. Nicely written. :)
