Drifter

Drifter

A Poem by Michael Lopez
"

the disposition of a self indulged mind....

"

There are dreams never fullfilled.

Love that will never be felt.

Living so distant in this world.

Will I ever find you?

Searching in this world around,

like a nomad drifting the plains.

Moving from place to place.

never finding acceptance.

Will I ever find myself,

deep inside this empty shell of mine?

Creating chaos all around me.

I can never find my path.

I turn to you,

but all you do is feed off my anger...

never helping.

With so many thoughts of death.

The pain I feel inside I can never explain.

Just wanting it all to stop.

 Praying for forgiveness.

In a world filled with the damned.
