Lothlorien

Lothlorien

A Poem by Michael Lopez
"

For Rachel. a lost love... to this day i still think about.

"

A mystic forest of elvin lore.

The canopy being like your long tresses of brown.

Your eyes are like mirrored pools,

that reflect the deepest of souls.

With a beauty that captivates my mind.

 I venture deeper,

and find a love.

That wins with no contest.

But how my heart is blind.

When finding true love.

Desires that stimulate the soul.

With the butterflies you feel.

When your heart flutters.

It seems I lose myself in wonder.

As it slips through my fingers.

The poetic language in this piece is amazing. The discription is great, though the part even better than all of that is the talent of dicribing a place like this one. I adore the fist stanza, and the way that you ended it all was great too. Though a short piece, length is no matter at all here. It has every great quality that a poem should have, and flows so smoothly like a pebble. What a wonderful and passionate piece! Great poem!

:>O WOW!

Ever so serene the mixture of your words and the art is breathtaking. Thank you for entering it into Tell Me a Secret contest. Best of luck. Brie

Will any love ever compare? Music flows like an emotion with the poem.
