Raving GypsiesA Poem by Michael LopezFires licking the night sky...
Like herding caravans of gypsies. Fires flicker, licking the night sky. The waves of endless dunes, with shrubbery of unknown phylums. Excotic sounds of music. Silohouettes in the dark, Dancers in their trances. Perfumed oils draw you closer. The feelings of temptation, take hold of you. A lost paradise found. Visiting a forgotten time. Like slipping into a dream, and never wanting to wake.
