Ghost

Ghost

A Poem by Michael Iam Bone
"

This poem is about inner death.

"
How can I describe...
Describe..... dying inside...
You remember your past life...
It's the one you're in now... only different.
Your soul has died... you're new.
Words can only hope to describe what it's like...
Imagine... imagine an orb. This orb is your soul.
This orb is a lifetime of feelings, thoughts,
Emotions, desires, experiences, memories....
You treasure it more than anything, it is you.
Now imagine it exploding into a thousand fragments.
There is nothing left but the scattered remains of your soul.
I can not put any more emphasis on this:
You can only be a shadow of what you once were,

Or something else entirely.
