Divinity

Divinity

A Poem by Michael Iam Bone
"

This poem is a semi-serious statement on the reality of the consequences one must face in life.

"

The rush of falling off a cliff or building is cloud nine,

It makes you feel immortal-- hell, your soul becomes

Divine.

But nothing is eternal, not even eternal life, no matter where

You come from, everyone knows of this strife, for every

Science, cult, and church acknowledges this vice: That

None can truly make or break something without a price.

And so the fee for divinity that lasts few a breath,

Is landing on the ground quite hard, therefore

Bringing your death.
