Gods Don't Bleed

Gods Don't Bleed

A Poem by Michael Fernandez

The weight of the world rests on my weaken shoulders,
Carry another dying body to the casket,
Bury a fallen citizen, a fallen soldier,
What's the difference; All the same,
In this life of the sick and the sin,
All we feel is pain, so much pain,
But I must act strong,
They're all afraid to die,
They want to succeed,
But, they must remember one thing;
Gods Don't Bleed.
