The Star of your Life

In the darkness of this starry night,
I feel like something is out of sight,
Something dazzling and splendid,
that your eyes cannot perceive.

the glittering stars filled with dreams,
luminous moon glowing wisdom,
nightfall void swallowing the daydream,
now everything has lost its symbolism.

I have been lying on this roof for far too long,
frustrated for the answers i got wrong,
yet deep inside me something sparks,
now my riddle is on its halfway mark.

A spark that shines like a star,
that makes you feel the chills of the humid breeze.
knowing your are safe under the moonlights radar,
the moon would not let you freeze.

Out of all the stars in the sky above,
Nothing compares to what you have within you.
Because why look for a star,
when there is one inside you.
