Failure By Design.

Failure By Design.

A Poem by Michael

A particularly strong sunset just happened to collided with the embrace of such an unapologetic color, considering the textures of unusual swirls evaporating into tiny speck's of dust. Predetermined outcomes of resilience have tipped the scales of what could have been the greatest downfall of us all, rather it was the complete surrender into the rage of lovely words. Transforming the only time we possessed into an opportunity to invest our mornings which cared little to the flaws in our design, into something we could dress with a ribbon and a few bows.
Humbly admitting the wasteland of vengeful days compiled by arrogance into the depths of reoccurring madness, holding back the feelings of love, because it'll only make things worse. Its easier to break the exterior of the universe with nothing, than to stay in perfect gaze within hindsight of a heart that has the potential to become as potent as the mixture of concrete and water. Relating the nuisance of words into little impressions of unforgettable smiles and loose connections, bonding together this day with the smell of autumn. Justifying every reaction with the implied nature of seconds passing slowly through the barrier of time and with this we have fallen.
Frantic evenings passing smiles eventually as the night progressed, we shared a common practice of trailing into situations where our hearts could easily be damaged. You were not the only one with a burden, covered by a blanket of protection offering a single memory of the warmth that could be offered, within the shallow glass of a bottle our tears could nearly fill.
