A Long While Back

back in the day...

Once I was lively and pacified,

Now, I am nothing of the sort.

Growing, learning, and questioning

has made me thirsty for answers.

But sadly I know, my brain will rot

before it has these questions answered.

The sun rises, and the heat is making me crazy

The sun sets, and the moon illuminates the night

and the cold shivers my bones, and

drives my ambitions downward.

Don't worry,

this won't be brief

Hold on, just a little longer

100 days and it will be better

and my mind can get off the topic of "never"
