With The Wind
A Poem by
Me
With the wind softly rolling, a silver ship on the shore. Lines of people waiting, hoping for something more. Dreams of sailors sleeping. Pillows under their heads. A bottle clear as grass, footsteps to what they said. Lowly animals worship in their temples all of gold. Silky soldiers are weeping for their lovers growing old. With the wind swiftly blowing. A gentle breeze in the sky. A woman cries by the roadside, footsteps to where they died

This poem was particularly deep and soul thriving. Powerful and clicking mind to think about those things which are usually left unnoticed.
One of the best sailors poem read me.

This is beautiful. I love the depth. I feel like there's a lot more being said than the words will let on and you used the rhyme well

Very powerful.
I like the flow and rhythm... simple rhyme.
Footsteps and crosses
mark the passage
of where we were
to where we aren't...

this has a haunting feel..as if the sailors returning home are not all returning..but still carried on a breeze..
