Silhouetted with Heartbreak

Silhouetted with Heartbreak

A Poem by Seshat Nidaba

Let the air circulate

In your lungs, with jealousy

For what you couldn't possess

For the love you couldn't keep

Physics dictates the bending of attitudes

Straight to the archaic figure

That was your heart, once thought

Infallible now irrevocably broken

Let the air circulate, it's spring!

Older than the names of anything

The unaltering intervals of thought

Do not suffice, orbit the brightening of tomorrow

Let the light pass you there, in time

You will be content with simplicity again.
