You joke about it,

You laugh about it,

Just to hide your fear,

You know the word and how it's been used,

Though you don't care,

You make what seems,

To be reality,

when really you're living a lie,

A lie you made up,

To make you better,

When really,

You're getting worse,

You wish you had forgot,

What had happened,

What you've been through,

But you can't,

You have to escape,

That is when,

Your reality becomes real to you..
