The Thoughts That Won't Go Away

The Thoughts That Won't Go Away

A Poem by Mia Rockwell
"

I was once a very unhappy person

"
I sought for help and was denied.
I cried myself to sleep that night
Cursed at every tear that fell
Everyday I become more unwell

More thoughts of "accidental" death
My mind is putting me to the test
I can only resist the urge to run for so long
Please, I'm begging. There is something really wrong

I wish I was being an exaggerated drama queen
That everything isn't how I make it seem
It would make the memory of your rejection a lot less painful
And the thoughts of broken trust more retainable.

Good job, and nicely done love. You have hit your own voice and your own genre. However try to find more stuff to read about. Come with different perspective or write about the way you look on yourself, like a helicopter viewing your life. Write it in third person. So you can evovle into something better and stronger. Be a butterfly. WOW I sound gay as f**k. Oh well. Still a great piece coming from you. Keep up the good work and please do keep writing and do not feel discouraged and give up. You have a lovely voice don't let it die out.
