Fire

Fire

A Poem by Mgfos2

And I sat and thought

Lord have you delivered me and have my prayers not fallen on deaf ears?

Have I forgotten Your mercy, that I shall introspectively reflect on my hands?

Should I care for tommorrow and forget my breath is the very gift from the Lord?

Should I turn into the world and out of Christ?

Should I just settle in the stew once boiling hot, but now a day to old and it has lost its taste?

Should I just be content in nothing or strive for Your glory?

Will my strength fail to focus on my goal?

Will my fruit remain not ripe?

Will I step into my path and the light of the Lord?

Don't let me settle for satisfaction, but service?

Let me not forget You amidst my thoughts, amidst the fall of life, and the lack of spirituality amidst a physical realm

Do we not know that the spiritual is a lot more real than the physical?

Yet seeing is believing right?

But I believe that I have not seen, but have known and entrusted that which He is able to keep in that day

Lord, let me not forget that YOU HAVE answered my prayers, and that YOU HAVE shown me things to come and that YOU will continue serve me Your glory, and I will serve You my life

Then I will call upon You and You will hear me and I will find You when I search for You with all my heart

Remember that fire Lord and let it not depart from my soul, spirit, mind, body, and strength

Let fire come from my lips, according to Your word that I may speak life, mercy, and grace as life, mercy, and grace has been given to me according to the riches that I have in Christ Jesus.

My prayer Lord, let my eyes not grown dull, and my strength grow weary, but that I shall be more than content in the house of the Lord, forever, and ever Amen. Praise God Almighty, the I am that I am.
