Jerusalem, Jerusalem

Jerusalem, Jerusalem

A Poem by Mgfos2
"

The Love of God

"

O Jerusalem my daughter have you seen the banquets I have prepared for you?

Perhaps the dress that is for you will make envious the bridesmaids and guests

Shall I serronate you with a heavenly choir of angelic voices never ceasing with praise of our reunion at last?

How have the lost come to the very skirts of your dress and I have recieved them dear to me

Has my door shut to you as much as you venture away from my household?

And my suitable groom has gone out to recieve you but you have pocketed your left hand

Have you not seen the mansion that I have built for you to dwell in

When you think of my love for you does your eyes look favorably upon your skin as you hand gently caresses the fit body which you so tenderly and affectionately love?

Jerusalem, Jerusalem your future is at hand and I will descend you down the aisle to be united with your husband in holy matrimony
