Stand

Stand should have been my last name

A legacy passed down from my father

If anything stand even if tha pressures of the world lean against you

Do not bow to what is not in your core

And if done with the arrogance and ignorance of your foolishness

Then a higher power will bow you and humble you to see this fault

Stand because sometimes others may come to stand with you

Stand because you know its right

Stand because you honor you Father in heaven

Stand because once you have been stood for

Stand and stay upright even if your life drags you to stoop over towards tha opposite

Stand to be honest and revealed in your special light

Stand so that others may see that you represent one greater than yourself

Stand for Him because he stood for you

Stand with your head up towards life because beneath you is death

Stand even if can't because with Jesus you can

Stand my friend, my brother, my love; Stand so that those who can't stand may lean on you for support and then be as strong as any fortress bounding by that relationship we have with Jesus

This poem has a strong message of faith and unity with other believers. You play with your vocabulary very well I think, and your flow is consistent, jarring the reader on.
