The mind-body problem is probably best explored through poetry. I don't know what this means, but I know what it tries to mean.
The lightening of my mind makes me love, A billion neurons fire serotonin, Dopamine, electricity and sex- Hormones to the sound of the feeling, And all this creates a life worth living,
another great one. yea the chemicals in our head are crazy things. i usually don't like short poems but this one didnt need to be much longer, it was short and sweet
hahaha! very cool write! If we thought about it- neurons-hormones-neurons-hormones. I wonder if we are talking chicken v egg here. yet, I do feel good, and have a life worth living...carry on mighty neurons! way to go serotonin...bring it on!
technically speaking, I think you did a great job putting this one together!
:D ~ awesome... does in heat applicable in humans? well i guess it can for we are part of the animal kingdom right... great work!

For me the intriguing thing is that some chemical equation and electric pulsation should produce such a powerful emotion. In bio-psychology the mind body problem is the (perhaps unanswerable) question "how?" Dome psychologists think that only matter actuallt exists, others think that only the mental world exist. Some (like me) think we're just calling the same things by different names (e.g. Happiness/ endorphins release in the pleasure center). That's kind of what I mean when I say that I think things like poetry can be used to explore what these things really Mean in a gestaltist sense.

I know that I need to get better at recognizing and replicating such combinations, rather than just letting my creative juices get on everything, which can be awkward. I always like when the abstractions we face in life seem like allegories for how everything physically comes together, like six billion DNA double helices twisting together; or six billion characters trying to find their counterparts, or where they fit in; like letters in sentences, trying to be the most interesting book ever.

I'm heavily interested and influenced by psychology. I also appreciate philosophy although I haven't taken any courses since high school. I believe a good writer should want desperately and insatiably.. more..
