Snow Moon

Snow Moon

A Poem by Erika Cristal

With a virus still holding
And the futures still molding

We look to the rose colored sky

Oh! sweet disposition
Oh! wholehearted vision
We embark on a mission
To break with tradition

Still not knowing where the horizons lie

Out of the caves
And out of the waters
Up in the air
Floats all that matters

Reach up and catch it!
Stand up and master
Surfing the wave,
Rise above it

Aim for the sun
Reach for the stars
Fly to infinity
Look to beyond

Wonder behests
Laying conclusions to rest
We can no longer attest
That we do know best

Old boundaries we break
Tower by tower
Until all that is left
Is our untainted power

No longer we take
For granted
Nor warranted
For it all is ours
Inherited
Cherished

We give
Give it all
With open palms
With lovely songs
Our love, our dance
Our joy, our labor

Our gratitude
We sow
As these shall be
The seeds that grow
Our new world old
Shall be restored
