Fall

Fall

A Poem by Megan
"

Sitting outside today I wanted to catch the moment and describe the season.

"

The wind swishing leaves around.

Colors of red, orange, yellow and brown fill the trees

And cover the ground.

Sunshine warming through sweaters and leggings.

Feeling the nip of cold

But breathing in the fresh, crisp air.

Looking through the window

It appears to be just another warm day of summer

But one step out the door

We feel the fall weather surrounding us,

Pulling us toward winter.

I enjoyed this poem. I liked the season of Fall. Cooler days and we seem to slow down some. I liked the description leading to the true ending. Winter is coming. Thank you Megan for sharing the excellent poetry.

I don't know if it is because the weather is changing here in Katy Texas, or what. But I could feel every word in this poem. I like it :)
