A Poem by _JessiSmiles

I am at peace,

but I still feel like screaming.

I love everyone and everything,

but I still feel more hate than you know.

With the people I meet,

I am united,

but I feel so isolated and excluded.

I respect everyone I meet,

but I still feel disrespected.

Walked on,

like a dirty carpet.

So,

I'll just turn up my music,

paint a smile on my face,

and move on.

Oh, I'm feeling like this poem a little bit. :]
I like how you use one line to state one thing, then the following line still holds doubts to it. It's pretty good. I also like how the last four lines create a solution, and - from what it appears to be - surround yourself with the things you love and you'll be sweet as. :] I like the message in the last line too. It's a nice write. :]
