675 Somewhere St.A Poem by Meek McGeeI could see the cracks in his skies...On 675 Somewhere St., a man Looks out of his window. His features Are engraved with the memories of better days, But I wouldn’t know that His eyes were Lonely-- Looking Further Towards violet, flowering Butterflies His arms rested on the window’s ledge His face seconds from the glass Were there other skies in his eyes? I wouldn’t know that Winds shifting We shift Sp l it The roses It was a broken-down apartment His eyes were looking further towards An empty parking-lot I could see the cracks in his skies But he couldn't see that © 2014 Meek McGeeReviews
