A Warm PlaceA Poem by Meek McGee
Someone once told me that there are
Little people that live in our hearts. They hold us when we are sad-- Or so I"ve Been told. I wouldn't want anyone to touch that Sometimes, when I'm cold, I jump off of bridges, Landing in warm places. I wonder if there's a Woman in my heart? Perhaps she has dark Hair and warm eyes. Perhaps she cries Maybe she just lies there to feel the warmth of the Dive-- Fearing postage stamp farewells Maybe she's the glare of cellphone screens in my Unsatisfied pane glass windows. I wonder if The ground was sad when I landed? Maybe The letter fell through the air, sprouting Wings to land upon a cloud near the heart Of the sky. Maybe the woman inside Will read it and feel the warmth and The pain of transparent goodbyes

I really enjoy music, anime, and books. Especially anything that has a hint of wonder of fantasy to it. F.. more..Writing
