Stillbirth

Stillbirth

A Poem by Meek McGee

Soft
She was soft
I touched her, and
She was
Soft
But it was hard
I was hard
I was
Hurt,
But when I touched her,
She was
Soft
and
Cold

Just the right touch with this one. It goes right to the heart without drama or buckets of tears.

Thank you! I tried to describe the feeling rather than the actual situation in this one.
