Political Mayhem

Political Mayhem

A Poem by Metaphantom
"

some metaphors and analogies describing events, past, present, and future. As I live them all at once, since time doesn't exist. That is why we are always at war, unless you find the zero point

"

These thoughts start racing, and my heart starts aching every part of me is shaking to the point I feel like breaking, I'm pacing, because what I'm facing, has no face, no Grace, no place, to be stationed, when I look in a mirror -

I'm here, I'm there, I'm present, I'm gone, I'm back, for a moment I'm alone and I long, for someone to love a mortal who doesn't exist, and the risk is that I'm not on the same timeline as your bliss

I don't move but I travel, I don't fight but I battle, these snake’s bite and rattle, causality of society scattered like sheep and cattle

Shatter the Hour Glass, you cowards devour that, not flattered by our past, towers showered by saddened blasts, all while flowers empowered grass, rewind the browser back to see sour rats on the concrete, ground level and scoured trapped, the prowler’s past,

Now shadowed by the misfortune, nobody ever missed orphan’s, aborted so this portion of mishap’s, this is, just that, misfired endorphins, plus overly right winged extortion, only thing left is left over absorption, drawing a straw to get the short end,

Just when you get a grip, right before you do you get a slip, get a trip back to the bottom of the trenches, s**t! relentless foreign henchman the headless horseman, is mentioned, multi dimension, here for the prevention, don’t expect comprehension, of my intentions and where my attention is on the next convention,

They are them, we are us, another duality, what they don’t know is this, the world will not exist further through brutality,

I was born conformed, then reborn with the form out of me, and the con was just left with the mentality they use to create commonality,

It isn’t that is it? fact there is no harmony, pharmaceutical companies only wanting to put harm in me, and you, you see the view, they bleed the truth through the pharmacy, and prescribe harmlessly.

3rd eye see the honesty in their armory, it’s not guns it is pills, that is how they control you into a state of heart hardening.

Your musicality is quite evident in your writing. While I lean into the wind, you chop into the waves. I really got into the rhythm of this, the stand outs for me being, "I don't move but I travel, I don't fight but I battle." I love the duality in these words. There's a strength in standing still.
