Orb

Orb

A Poem by Metaphantom

Aesthetically captivating like Rembrandts paintings,

Surpassed the math of life hacks then pass straining,

The prolific, pro lifting spirits with no gimmicks,

Delectable savor of no limits in each lyric or limerick,

I can come near it or fear it, or have terms of endearment,

Learn that the ears, eyes, smell, taste, touch burn and sear it,

Return the sphere again, right here and then there over,

Like stillness cannot happen when I hit a trembling shoulder,

Colder, not anything given, not a glance no chance with her,

I get rapidly tremored like my enhanced energy withers,

Away is how I feel, I see orbs and they surround me,

And suddenly I am absorbed of everything and drowning,

No angels here, just entities trying to find their grounding,

Last thing I see is her smiling face, in her hand my heart pounding ~

I love this! Usually poems structured like this make me lose interest. But this one held my attention. The flow and raw emotion was great!
