Inner Self

Every time I close my eyes,

I see something different,

Possibly just LIES.

I see me, up on the stage

Singing out loud

Making sure I'm not a waste.

But then all of sudden,

Reality hits me in the face.

The voice within me says

" You cant do that, you never will,

Hahaha so sad, how does that feel?"

The inner me is just a mocking devil

I take hold, and find myself.

What will the new me reveal?
