Fly Away

Fly Away

A Poem by MetalShopGurl

Woken in the middle of the night,

Again they start to fight.

Making her way to the door,

Closing it all once more.

Waking up again in the morn,

Ready to hear all the scorn.

Not wanting to descend down,

Trying to get rid of my frown.

Getting home late again,

Time for the fun to begin.

Tip-Toeing on the floor,

Wanting this no more.

The lights are turned on bright,

She screams from the fright.

Running for her keys,

Trying to get away from the sleeze.

One hit and she's down,

Blood is all around.

Closing her eyes at the sight,

Trying to get away with all her might.

The last hit was insane,

She blacks out from the pain.

Flying away with haste,

She is in a better place.

It's sad how there are those out in the world who hurt those for their own pleasure or because they love seeing thers in pain because of them, and sometimes the only thing we can do to escape it to escape from reality.
