Love's Loss

Love's Loss

A Poem by MetalShopGurl

When love's loss,
Is but foretold,
A shadow hides,
Secrets of old.

The shadow stalks,

The shadow hides,

But you can’t see,

What it holds inside.

When love's loss,
Is but foretold,
The goddess of love,
You shall provoke.

You shall scream,
And you shall fight,
But nothing will,
Save you this night.

She'll rip you up,

She'll tear you down,

And nothing will be left,

Of you in this town.
