demons fearA Poem by Stephen ElliottThis is a short poem I wrote about a month ago, I sometimes let my mind roam and build fantasies, This poem is an attempt at describing the scene of one of these fantasiesTonight devils do not tread and angels hide their wings, Gods tremble in the clouds and man is bound with suffering, The moon shines red and all leaves fall from there trees, The creatures of the land and air and sea are lost and never seen. We stand tall and guard throughout this night, devoid of demon, god and man, We true creatures of the night move freely this one eve Men of wolf decent and those of blood drenched teeth let loose for now The unseen world will rule for now as the scene goes on. The streets are filled with fur and fang as all earthy life flees this night The laws of man, and god and beast do not stand at all We prowl these streets and take our fill For us of the night are ever restricted on all but this fine eve.
