I Remember

This is about the first girl who showed me what love is.

I remember when I first came across you, 
Embodying the innonence of a teen. 
Youthful exuberance spread from your's to my heart, 
And you made life seem so serene. 

I remember all the sleepless nights we spent, 
Confessing our love over the phone. 
Telling each other our deepest secrets, 
Leaving nothing to the unknown. 
I fell in love with your tender voice, 
Warming my body down to the bone. 
No matter how down I felt you'd tell me, 
I would never be alone. 

I remember when you told me that Nobody, 
Would ever love me as much as you. 
Years have passed and I still can't help, 
But sit here wondering if that is still true.

great nice poem although it reflects so sad feelings of waiting and depression, it also rflects much love and passion. i have really enjoyed reading it with all the images and nice word picking....
