From the Loft

From the Loft

A Poem by C Lee
"

An inspirational poem written as I sit on my Aunt's loft balcony, looking into her neighbor's pines.

"

They whistle

Glisten

The bangles of a belly dancer's waist

Lost on branches of birch & pine

Waving at you

Shimmering

As if to say,

"Look at me."

And you do

Watch them

       fan

         clap

Jingle

Like silver bells

on a sunshine day
