"Dark"

Day 2 of Amy's writing prompt. Writing about something dark, something light. I took the less literal, more emotional translation. The light poem is posted separately.

Brown eyed baby

Don’t slip and fall

Carry each footstep

Though it were luggage

Tread lightly

A cautionary tale

Open and close

Close and open

Take it all out

Put it all back

Settlers beware

Always one foot out the door
