 Don't - get yourself down

I know it's easy to say

I know - things'll work out

they'll work out for you someday

whatever happens to you baby

whatever they try to make you do

you are immune to all the fear and all the lies

they wont be able to get through

Don't - walk away mad

I don't like to see you that way

No - things aren't so bad

the sky wont always be so gray

and when I tell you that I love you

take that love and make it yours

and you can take down your defenses

cause you wont need them anymore

There's no directions to this game

where we all play against ourselves

you find your place to stand and listen to your soul

though you may feel lost you'll know which way to go

you keep on moving cause there's nothing else to do

and if you cant go on I'll carry you

whatever happens to us baby

whatever the world puts us through

always remember that our strength is in our hearts

and if were together then we'll never be apart

if I've ever felt this sure I can't remember when

and I know someday that I'll see you again

I like the conversational tone of this writing. A few small punctuation errors, but overall an interesting bit of writing.
Keep it up.
