Not what I Need

Not what I Need

A Poem by Merrioh

Not What I Need

I want my fantasies to come alive.

I want reality to become fiction.

I want the dreamtide to flow around me.

I want tea,

not just any tea but Winter’s raspberry tea.

I want that ching.

I want Shaibelle to emerge from within.

I want what will never be,

for all this is just what I want,

not what I need.
