Shades of Purple

Shades of Purple

A Poem by Mermaid Tale
"

Nothing of real worth every comes completely without pain.

"
Purple petals falling down,
dance in the air,
sprinkle over the ground.

Midnight rain from onyx skies,
end the drought,
the desert of lies.

The loudest whispers ever heard,
dart through the clouds,
like irate birds.

Mixed emotions throughout my heart,
you stir in me,
just as we part.

Purple petals falling down,
comfort me,
'til you're around.
